Native Android App user login via API
By Created , last editted

Hey,

Can anyone recommend a solid/secure way to check user login credentials, stored in Betty using the/an API? I would like to use this for a Native Android App.

There is a Betty-model app_user with the text-property "username" and password-property "password". As recommended at the Betty Learn page, I've created a single API user.

I like to have the app users to login into the app by entering their username and password. Then send these credentials via a HttpRequest to a Betty API using the single API user, and let Betty give the result as response.

Thanks for any help!

Hey Marcel, not yet. I'll look at this a bit later.

We've added Authentication Profiles to the platform, so you probably can achieve this with multiple authentication profiles.
