Hi all,

I am thinking about translating my BB app into Dutch. I would like to brainstorm with you what the most efficient / best way is to achieve this, both in terms of the data model as well how to integrate a 2nd language on the front-end side. To store all content (e.g. titles, button captions, table headers etc.) I was thinking about setting up a datamodel with the following properties:

Label Id (auto increment)

Language (either NL or EN)

Label Description (the content of the label)

Then I was thinking about adding a variable to the Webuser model with the language setting (either NL or EN), so on each page the language setting can be derived from this model.

Then on the front-end using liquid to grab the correct label. But that's where I am going to struggle. E.g. it's not efficient to load the whole language collection and loop through it to get the correct label. It's also not working to assign all labels individually to the endpoint with text-expressions... what other options do we have? 

I would like to set it up as robust as possible, also taking into account that other languages can be added in the future without re-engineering this whole language setup.
