Sometimes you may encounter problems when inviting new users to your application. Check the following things when you do encounter this:

Permissions

It's important to check your permissions, to see if you're allowed to invite new people to your application. Currently, inviting new people to your application is based on Role Based Access Control in My Betty Blocks. This is a feature which sets authorizations on an organization level.

Something went wrong popup

When all your permissions are okay, you may still encounter an error while adding a new user to your application. Most of the time you will see a "Something went wrong" popup. 

In this case, it's best to open an incognito window and retry adding the user. If it works now, make sure you clear your cache for your normal browser to prevent errors in the future.
