Reducing number of clicks in backoffice app
By Created , last editted

Hi all,

I'm looking for ways to improve the user experience in a backoffice app, amongst others by getting rid of unnecessary mouse clicks.

One of the things I am missing is the "Save & Close" button. So after editing a record I need to press the "Save" button first, and then the "Close" button to return to the previous screen.

I would like to be able to create one button that 1. Saves my changes 2. Closes the current tab 3. Redirects me to a tab of my choice.

I've been doing some experimenting using javascript buttons, but so far without result.

Has anyone tried this? Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Let me know your thoughts, thanks!
